Entrance Lobby Lobby from another angle
Landscape Corridor
The request from the clients for this project is to make
“hotel luxury” atmosphere. The large-scale artwork which
is hanging from the ceiling with over 1000 plastic sticks
by wire is to make the impression to the visitors when
they go through the main entrance and it also performed
the elegant scene.To light-up this art-piece, the designers
adjust the lamp sources to the certain angle to add the 3D
effects to the art piece. Another point to the public art in
Classy House Shibaura is the glass which is located on
the corridor side. In order to achieve the style of minimal design,
the downlights are all hidden into the ceiling to focus only on the art.
According to the implement, the shape of the shadow and
the pattern released from the artworks could be controlled
by design the shooting angle of the downlights.
With the reflection from the glass-art,
these downlights produce enough light for his area.
As for the landscape, we do our best to cut off
the unnecessary light and successfully controlled the budget.

今回のプロジェクトでは、ハイエンドなホテルのラグジュアリーな空気を
求められました。エントランスにおいては、天井からワイヤーで
1000本以上のプラスティックの棒を吊り下げ、印象的なオブジェに
なって通って行く人たちへエレガントな演出を
提供することができました。このアートピースの
照明演出のポイントは、天井器具の角度を微妙に
調整しながら照射しているところ。演出したいマックスの
イメージを決めて、オブジェを通して醸し出される、
陰影による立体感をつくっています。
また、廊下の壁に設置した棒状のガラスも注目の点です。
この壁面インスタレーションへの演出を際立たせるため、
廊下のメイン天井には照明がありません。
壁面の直上部分から、壁面アートだけを狙い、
角度調整により計算された照明演出になっています。
ガラスからでる影と模様を光でコントロールすることに成功しました。
そして、壁面直上のダウンライトによるガラスアートに
反射した光だけによって、このエリアの
照明計画が完成されています。
ランドスケープには必要な照明は最低限にし、
予算内にプランをすることが出来、
さらに高級感を出すことができました。
